Science:

This whole world is comprises of matter and air basically. This matter and air comprises whole living and non living things.  So the study of this matter and air by experiments and observations and to get benefits from them is known as science 

The systematic study of structure and behaviour of physical and world through observation and experiment. 

Basics of Science:

The scientific disciplines that provide fundamental understanding  of natural processes by which natural resources are transformed. 
These scientific disciplines are Mathematics, Biology, chemistry and physics. 

Basic Disciplines of Science:

Here is the description for basic disciplines of science that surround whole science. 

1-Mathematics: 

The science of studying quality, space, structure and change. 
The mathematics word arrived from the ancient Greek word "mathema" which means *that which is learnt* or, *what one gets to know*
Mathematics is the area of knowledge that comprises of numbers, formulas and related structures, shapes, quantities and their changes. 

2- Biology: 

The study of life is known as biology. The biology word comes from two Greek word
"Bios" and "Logos"
Bios means *Life* and logos means *To study* so it is the study of all living organisms either micro or macro and their interaction with environment. 


3-Chemistry: 

The  study of physical and chemical properties, composition, structure and beviour of matter is known as chemistry. 

4- Physics:

This discipline of science studies about the matter it's constituents, motion and behaviour through motion and time. 


These are the basic disciplines of science. All other disciplines like biophysics. Bio mathematics, biochemistry, geo physics, geochemistry,etc  arrive by compilation of these 4 basic disciplines
